Our Story
The Falsely Accused Network was founded by someone who has been through it. After being falsely accused himself, Michael Thompson built a professional network to give others the support, guidance, and representation he wished had existed.
We work with individuals across England and Wales facing false allegations of domestic abuse, coercive control, and related accusations — particularly where those allegations are affecting child arrangements, family court proceedings, and parental relationships.
Our network includes experienced McKenzie Friends, specialist family law solicitors, criminal defence solicitors, direct access barristers, and therapists who understand the real impact of false allegations.
We are not a charity and we are not a free service. We are a professional support organisation that takes your situation seriously and works hard to get you the right outcome.

MIKE
Founder
With a first-hand experience being falsely accused, I know what it feels like and can imagine what may be at stake. This network here naturally came to be and has been built over the years to provide all the victims with the help and support I wish had. Contact me, I can help.
Our Approach
We offer confidential, professional support to individuals falsely accused of domestic abuse or coercive control in England and Wales.
Every case is different. Our approach is to understand your specific situation first, then connect you with the right professionals — whether that's a McKenzie Friend to support you in court, a specialist solicitor or barrister, or a therapist who understands the impact of false allegations.
We also run a peer support community where members can connect with others who understand what they're going through.
