At the Falsely Accused Network (FAN), we understand the devastating impact of false or mistaken allegations. That’s why we’ve built our support system around three strong pillars — so no one has to face this alone.
---
1. Confidential Helpline
Our confidential helpline is at the heart of what we do. It is free and always will be. We support anyone falsely accused or misaccused in England & Wales, offering guidance and understanding when you need it most.
From there, we can connect you with the right legal professionals depending on your situation:
For criminal cases, we refer to qualified defence solicitors.
For family law cases, we refer to experienced family solicitors and barristers.
For those on a lower income, we can connect you with trusted McKenzie Friends, who provide a cost-effective alternative to full legal representation.
---
2. Mental Health Support
False allegations don’t just threaten your reputation — they take a huge toll on your wellbeing. That’s why we work with Aga, our dedicated coach and therapist, based in the North of England.
She supports both men and women who have been falsely accused of domestic abuse, as well as those who have been victims of domestic abuse themselves. Her sessions are conducted online, making them accessible no matter where you are in the country. At just £30 per session, support is kept affordable without compromising quality.

3. Private Peer Support Group
Alongside legal and therapeutic support, we know the power of solidarity. Our private peer support group offers a safe, well-moderated online community where members can connect, share experiences, and encourage one another.
This group is free to join and provides a supportive environment where you can talk to others who truly understand what you are going through. It is carefully safeguarded, unlike unsafe platforms such as WhatsApp, Signal or Discord, which we will never use. All of those platforms are known to be infiltrated by the police.

Moving Forward Together
Being falsely accused can feel like the end of the world — but you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether you need legal guidance, mental health support, or a community that understands, FAN’s three pillars of support are here to help you through the hardest time of your life.
